1st place for fastest kick!!!! Got a big trophy and she was very excited, but also disappointed that she didn't get a trophy for every event. So silly.
On Monday morning she went to my Dr. appointment and she thinks it is too funny that I have to pee in a cup. Well, that afternoon was her 5 year check up and she had to pee in a cup too. Her doc was asking how she is doing and I told him all she is learning in preschool, can count to 100, writes her name, can read simple books, knows her ABC's in sign language, etc... He asked how her speech was, because of course, she is shy and just sits there. I tell her she speaks really well, and carries on full conversations. I asked her to show the Dr how well she speaks and she said "blah, blah blah, blah blah" He just laughed and said oh great she has a sense of humor too.
Then came the trauma! Other than when she was a baby, she has never had a problem with shots, and has even been excited to go get shots. She watches and everything. I don't know what happened this time, all I can think is she didn't like the nurse that came in to give all the shots. She freaked out. She had to start w/ a finger prick for Anemia test, and she was not going for it. I had to try and hold her down and she was screaming bloody murder. The nice nurse then came in when she heard all the screaming and she held her while I stood behind her and cried myself for my poor baby. It just got worse and she screamed so loud the entire time. She had to get that finger stick, 4 shots and TB test. The poor nurses ears are probably still ringing, since she was screaming right into her ear. She cried off and on the whole way home and then was fine once we got home. Her Grandma had to take her back in yesterday to check her arm from the TB test and everything fine w/ that. Lucky for all of us, other than the flu shot we all get every year she doesn't need anymore shots until she's 9 or 10.
Tomorrow both Mr H and I took off to go on a field trip w/ her. That will be fun.
Tuesday we go register my baby for kindergarten. I am now glad of the spacing of my kids. I'll be off her 1st 3 months of kindergarten to take her and pick her up everyday and it will just be me and the new baby all day while she is at school. I still can't believe she is starting kindergarten though.
That's about it for now. I am off today too, so I think when I pick her up we have to go to Burger King for lunch as they have Ironman toys. My little superhero freak!!!!

Who gets a girl into Superheroes? Oh Uncle Phillip does. Go me, go me. That is so sad that she cried and had to be held down, which then made you cry. You poor thing. Yes Kindergarten already. WOW!
OMG the poor baby I am so sorry! Tell her Lex has to get 4 of them on May 15th. I love you Rylee and I am so proud of you!!!
